Thread: Very tempted to dual boot again!

it's weird really!

though have been enjoying simplicity of windows 7 (and xp on older machine) , how can them working mega fast, etc, miss linux!

miss choice of desktops, security, flexibility, power of desktop.. , how non-restrictive , interesting whole thing is!

new ubuntu releases super cool.. mean they're little rough around edges basic drool-worthy! hope goes here!

kde 4 looking amazing, , lxde coming along well. newer distros chakra caught eye seem offer great spins on main desktop environments.

mean, it's not peachy, ubuntu on friend's desktop pc failed connect net using wired connection lol (as did opensuse), though windows connected totally fine! stuff kinda crazy, thought wired connections gonna solid no matter what. , yeah doesn't attempt use wireless dongle got on ebay, that's more understandable understand how tricky must trying organize unofficial drivers everything! must nightmare...

yeah erm, interface , overall approach of ubuntu 11.04 gets clean 10/10 me, hope polish more , matures bit. beautiful though, must admit!

sadly machine i'll have bit old laptop i've had ever, i'll dual booting lubuntu windows xp or tiny windows 7, that's beauty of linux - can still have gorgeous , totally date desktop frickin' ancient hardware! hehe

ok erm, that's it! i'm gonna try ubuntu 11.04 bootable pendrive on laptop , see how struggles! xd

go im tempted throw xp on mine got games kinda miss 1 thing xp makes gaming os gotta give little credit!
