Thread: Back Up Live USB

i have live usb flash drive made ubuntu-10.04-netbook-i386.iso startup disk creator.

if want flash drive onto hard disk, can copying files, example "cp -a ..." or "tar ..."?

or need use "dd" or method?

purpose of backup can use flash drive purpose, restore bootable live usb, if needed @ later time, without having use startup disk creator.

i've not tried use dd, need boot sector files therein.

Ubuntu
