subdomain not reachable with www.name.com, only with http:/ - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have set subdomain of joomla site.
the problem having can enter subdomain if digit http://subdomain.site.com
if put www.subdomain.site.com, redirected homepage, though address bar shows subdomain address "www.subdomain.site.com".

what happening here? there way fix it?
