i have created 80 page document, used 6 master pages, style sheets, etc. i've done project annually past 6 years. tried troubleshooting: reset preferences, rebuilt document several times , reinstalled indesign software. @ first thought might memory issue, document 39 mb, it's not complicated. go add page or delete page freezes. have auto page numbering. i've checked fonts. thing can think of wrong master pages? i've tried overridding, etc. shouldn't hang having many master pages, should it? i''ve said, i've done book in past , never have encountered problem. @ point needed out door , had put page numbers on manually , had printer delete pages. i've gone , tried delete master pages , will, when go delete page freezes. pages want delete empty , contain no text thread. did, however, have master page style. did wrong? advice.
