H4 headings being cropped in IE9 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have completed site client working beautifully in browsers except ie9( (no surprises there!). pages contain h4 headings within articles, in ie9 cropped top , bottom.
i can't find way in h4 element in css prevent this.
it driving me nuts!!! can please help?

i have added text shadow h4 headings, again, work fine in ie9, shadow looks terrible , wrong colour.

i found issue!
seems in internet exploder, h4 style inherits line-height property body style. not sure why.
so adding line-height property , playing around various sizes, fixed it, without upsetting work of firefox, chrome et al.
fixed dropshadow progid filter.
guess can call solved!....unless?.........
