Thread: Printer ink levels detection

hi, i'm having problems getting ink levels here few details:
ubuntu 11..
epson stylus c66

have tried mtink , escputil have seen suggested in other threads

receive following error with escputil:

admin@home-computer:~$ sudo escputil -i -r /dev/usb/lp0
escputil version 5.2.6, copyright (c) 2000-2006 robert krawitz
escputil comes absolutely no warranty; details type 'escputil -l'
free software, , welcome redistribute it
under conditions; type 'escputil -l' details.


cannot write /dev/usb/lp0: resource temporarily unavailable

mtink when run terminal sudo , gives permission error /dev/usb/lp0 or /dev/lp0 or /dev/usblp0

using administrator account root privileges. new hope can help.
