did full install of ubuntu 10lts 64bit version on hp pavilion dv2.
netwoking enabled can't see wireless connection
can help?

maybe need "activate" "additional driver".
have hp laptop (it's touchsmart instead of pavillion) guess chipset same manufacter: broadcom.

broadcom didn't release opensource drivers, these cannot activated cause of license type of use.
have manually specify want use proprietary driver broadcom.

can try activate b43 driver or sta driver "additional driver" tools, rachable top menu:

system->administration->additional drivers


don't assure solution, be.
try.
