Thread: Cannot Mark File as Executable

whenever try run .exe file on separate hard drive, following message:

the file '/media/0810b0e010b0d5c2/users/sean/downloads/utorrent/completed downloads/crysis_2_v1.8-fairlight/crysis_2_final_1.8n_patch.exe' not marked executable.  if downloaded or copied untrusted source, may dangerous run.  more details, read executable bit.

and when try mark file executable, check box unchecks itself. i'm not sure if has permissions, it's set user name use in windows. idea how fix this? running wine 1.2.2.
