Photoshop and midi controller

   work company , image processing on production level.  looking in new ways streamline our process.  1 feature looking @ using midi controllers, setting row of buttons take thru process.  wondering if 1 else uses such device or device not keyboard. looking see other professionals use

in realm of graphics, have seen midi used live performance capture of animated characters/puppets. cannot imagine how useful image editing program. if there pre-defined "process", there may not need live improvisation of artist using midi controls. there ability run actions based on hotkeys assigned keyboard.
