Local Testing Server

i have xampp installed on computer , use deal wordpress files.

 

i have webassist contact form php contact form. preview in live view or in firefox message asking if have testing server use. i've tried specifying c:\xampp doesn't seem work

 

my question : xampp work testing server? if yes, can offer advice how set or if it's worthwhile?

 

i have main drive partitioned , site te contact form @ d:\localsites\ap

 

the xampp installed c:\xammp

might work better if move local site files

c:\xampp\htdocs\sitename
