so, computer tad slow , has quite bit of slowdown/framerate issues (specifically in minecraft) , heard friend of mine partitioning parts of ram game can increase performance. possible in linux? if so, give me hand or point me newbie-friendly guide on how it?
thank in advance!
sorry if isn't right place post this, seemed fitting.
ive heard of hard disk partitioning, ram? interesting idea recall random access memory dumped after every shutdown, if partition ram, logically stay partitioned session, if having issues minecraft fps rates suggest optimine mod instead. helps alot on machines dont have quite enough resources, know laptop cant play game without it.
can find details on here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/...__optimine+166
need risugami's modloader, http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/...-mods-updates/
enjoy!
