Issues In updating from LR2 to LR4

i updated lightroom 2 directly lightroom 4 , have installed 4.1 update.

 

however, develop module appears still lightroom 2 develop module. still has brightness, fill light, etc. in basic area rather new lr 4 sliders. additionally, top of screen says light room 2 catalog 2. (this pc).  however, have maps , book modules.

 

any suggestions?

the old slider visble in develop module, etc until file pv2012 used or older 1 updated.

don't update older files though may need redo them , happy best leave is.

for files imported catalog new pv2012 used , new sliders visible.

 

point two, catalog name reflection upgraded lr2 catalog indicated 2 @ end. can rename , associated previews file manually lightroom closed. recommend creating new catalog can give name of liking , import lr2 upgraded one. can clear "rubbish" catalog. suggest not importing previews generating new ones new catalog. things have moved forward quite lot , best start clean.
