Thread: PSAD errors

hi.

i've installed psad , after updating , running
sudo psad --fw-analyze

[+] parsing iptables input chain rules.
sh: /usr/bin/mail: permission denied
[-] errors found in firewall config.
emailed dalekdraco@yahoo.com
[+] results in /var/log/psad/fw_check
[+] exiting.
when read fw_check log says:
you may need add default logging rule input chain on
draco-laptop. more information, see file "fw_help" in
psad sources directory or visit:

http://www.cipherdyne.org/psad/docs/fwconfig.html
now i've googled problem , fix error apparently need run:
sudo iptables -a forward -j log

sudo iptables -a input -j log
when run --fw-analyze again shows no errors. when reboot original error on running command.

i'm nooby still, i've done install psad , update it, , assume don't need configure make work .

appreciated, cheers. p { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }
