Thread: Need new printer - HP or Canon ?

time throw out old hp 810c desktop printer. looking @ canon , hp printers today, , need know better printer, out of either hp or canon.

'problem' scanner has been drivers, need know, if new printer will definitely work on ubuntu.

1. hp cheaper per page printing, , concern, i'd go hp, if going work 100%

2. 2 ubuntu computers - 64 bit 10.04 lts , 32 bit, version after 10.04 ?? both computers asus motherboards, if makes difference.

3. have router wireless printer function, can go wireless, might better stay usb.

my vote hp. make sure install hplip-gui archives.
