Upgrade good, site down - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

ok, ran upgrade 1.7.3 2.5.6. have site when go gives http 500 internal server error. looking around in admin console gives me following information:
using discover following: failed loading xml file
/home2/channelk/public_html/modules/flashxml/flashxml.xml
xml: failed load external entity "/home2/channelk/public_html/modules/flashxml/flashxml.xml"

i have 3 modules show under discovery say's warning:
this screen allows discover extensions have not gone through normal installation process.

those modules are, flashxml, gantry, unread messages. of course these modules working before update , installed correctly.

i have 1 warning:
the php temporary directory directory php uses store uploaded file before joomla! can access file. whilst directory not being set isn't problem, if having issues manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting in php.ini file might fix issue.

the above warning has been there since before update.

i apologize not being top level joomla person. can handle basics, fixing of going need help.

the important thing here believe halting site working gantry. need uninstall updated version of gantry , if how affect layouts?

i have no idea how repair flashxml issue.

any other suggestions appreciated.

i experiencing issue joomla. if follow following steps: menus, select main menu, , click "new" end blank page. nothing happens. blank page. under menu can see everything, if try edit menu item - blank page.

this goes everything. if go module manager, can see modules. if try edit one, blank page. cannot edit anything.

at least have brand new of entire site if unable fix these can revert, want date.....
