i'm having random lock issues on brand new system, i'm hoping pointers because dmesg doesn't show useful , frankly don't know else look.
it's natty server system, when locks cannot ping machine or ssh it, nothing appears listening @ once locks up. connecting monitor see mangled version of login prompt - randomly colored horizontal lines throughout. machine on 24/7 , happens once every couple of days.
directly on box have routing going on through iptables , entails (with dnsmasq), linux raid setup mdadm, , virtualbox machines.
hardware wise it's i3-2100 sandy bridge, msi h61m-p23 (b3) board, 8gb corsair xms ram, d-link dwa-556 wifi, 3x samsung spinpoint f4 2tb each , 16gb kingston s100 ssd. swap spread on spinners @ 4gb each , else raid'ed past home, var, , tmp on raid volumes.
current plan not launch vbox machines on , see if it's ok without them, i'm not sure if going since appears hardware. other i'm not sure else can try turning off.
