Thread: Desktop missing everything

hello , hope can help.

upgraded ubuntu 10 11.04 last night , when logon, desktop background picture , few file icons on desktop. there no menu bar, no launcher, nothing. can right-click on desktop change background picture or add launcher. tried creating launcher command "unity-reset" received error couldn't find file. it's hard execute commands , i'm forced reboot , use previous version.

can help?
