does not work Insert/Edit botton - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi , have quesiton.

in order link other site, using insert/edit function.
when clicked oh botton called insert/edit link, new window used show up.

however, clicking on same botton, nothing happened (no window came up).
no error message came up, nothing....

does know how fix problem?

if function coded yourself, please post code snippet. if using of existing functionality of joomla please mention function/file name using. further.
