we installed adobe creative suite cs6 @ work , i'm surprised find fireworks incredibly unresponsive point unusable. opened small layout had been working on (only handful of objects , layers) , there delay of 5 seconds between selecting , object , being able move or interact in way.
i longtime fireworks user , find unsatisfactory. have go , fetch cs5 , reinstall.
what gives adobe?

boy, sounds weird—as in, sounds something's gone wrong beyond anticipated.
i upgraded fw8 cs5 (a big jump) , cs6. left all versions installed. cs5 , cs6 work comparably. no major complaints—with performance, anyway. granted, i'm using snow leopard (os 10.6.8) have 4 gb ram. fireworks cs6 version that's supposed optimized lion, should have best results pairing (compared cs5).
i'm no tech support expert. i'd little nervous installing cs5 on top of cs6. because might mess cs6 components. i've heard you're best off installing later versions on top of older versions. (i imagine fixed cs6 install, if needed.)
