photshop CS5 paint bucket colors do not match selected color picker colors

i installed cs5 on laptop after first removing previous machine.

all licences validated no problems there.

now when using paint bucket in photoshop, colors select in color picker not colors result when use paint bucket.

 

if create new black canvas colors selected in color picker work paint bucket.

but if attempt recolor background in existing image import photoshop, mismatch colors when use paint bucket. method selecting colors same in each case, select 'set foreground color' , set color using html values entry @ bottom of panel.

 

any gratefully received.
