backup and restore online/offline - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have site hosted on godaddy , when checked application installed today didnt saw joomla on site , when check ftp can see files (maybe have uninstalled joomla server since getting :
you don't have permission access / on server.
additionally, 404 not found error encountered while trying use errordocument handle request.

my question if can copy (filezilla) files local computer , install joomla on server (godaddy) , paste contect server

will work ?

suggest in first instance check host see if have done server.
second take download of files , directories using filezilla suggest.
third take dump of database tables (this actual content have added site) using phpmyadmin.
