no Control Panel after updating to 2.5.6 - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've updated joomla 1.7 2.5.6 , control panel has disappeared. instead, error message:

this not joomla message far aware. if is first time have seen it.

how have upgraded joomla 1.7 2.5.6?

do have backup of 1.7 site , database?

does host meet minimum technical requirements joomla 2.5.x? please run forum post assistant provide information try , resolve issue.
