Fine control over Joomla URLs - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i convert existing website joomla. however, need finer control on urls seem able control joomla. assuming joomla installed in base public_html directory of user, these pages keep urls:
http://dotancohen.com/howto/rtl_right_to_left.html
http://dotancohen.com/eng/genealogy.php
http://dotancohen.com/heb/contact_info.html

i aware use 301 redirect via .htaccess prefer configure canonical url of page. possible in joomla or extension?
