i have adobe cs 5.5 production premium installed , operating @ 100% functionality on windows 7 ultimate (64 bit) machine (amd fx-8150, 16 gb ram, 200+ gb free disk space.). second time recently, i've run problem source , program windows/frames don't show of video clips or sequences @ all; per usual double click item in project window/frame edit or open sequence play back, , nothing. (screenshot below.) clicking play button after few minutes may result in hearing of audio doesn't work, , it's delayed, minutes. occurs across projects, doesn't seem tied particular one, , persists across reboots.
i'm not sure did cure problem first time around; seemed on it. regardless, make editing difficult, , i'm start on new project...
any idea how fix issue or @ least might causing it?
for kind of issue i'd suspect graphics driver.
