Thread: Problems finding and installing Open Office

no matter how try, or how many sources go to, every instance of open office gives me error message saying jre (java) file corrupt.
cannot find instance of open office can download regardless of version.
have no open office now. how can find version give me entire package , install?
i've had lot of trouble getting version install...but may due corruption of jre file

hi, first libre office comes natty , openoffice comes previous versions of ubuntu. should remove version of java corrupt command.

sudo apt-get --purge remove packagename

install java with

code:

sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jdk openjdk-6-jre

or use software center install have accept agreement , should install. make sure rid of old 1 first.
