Thread: How can I blacklist system updates?

i no longer want update wine, , keep accidentally hitting install updates button on update manager.

want wine updates not show @ all, don't care can untick boxes @ update time.

i'm not on ubuntu machine, direction might little off, open synaptic....search application , highlight it. menu select "packages" (i think??) , select "lock version" not update.
