i want hide window desktop wont appear in bar @ bottom. want bring window don't lose anything. there free software ubuntu download?

when using legacy gnome, removed bottom panel, , added windows list applet top panel. using windows list applet, show list of open windows when click icon, otherwise don't show anywhere. enable it, right click on panel, , select applet list.
