Thread: easy to use web design software?

i'm looking easy use web design software compatible ubuntu. i'm complete beginner @ web design, , i'm looking can put on computer , used when i'm offline. no web design sites such wix or moonfruit.

i think question little vague. kind of webpage want build? need have specific functionality? kind of interaction want have 'design software'? want wysiwyg? otherwise, think people comfortable either chromium's developer tools or firefox firebug extension. (these editing css part; guess html easy enough write on regular notepad application?) also, may want @ drupal content manager. why don't search on ubuntu software center?
