page numbering even/odd

help have 100 page pdf document

 

i need odd page numbers 1a, 2a, 3a . . .

and page numbers 1b, 2b, 3b . . .

 

basically front sides number 'a'

and sides 'b'

but both need same number: 1a &1b, 2a & 2b, 3a & 3b

 

i hope makes sense.

are referring physical page numbers print out on hardcopy or page numbers display in navigation toolbar in acrobat?
