Thread: Lenovo X220 X Server Freezing

i purchased lenovo x220 laptop , installed ubuntu 11.04 on it. main issue having x server keeps on freezing intermittently without warning.

i've updated x server using xorg-edgers ppa in hopes of causing issue stop.

other steps can take in order track down cause of issue , resolve it?

i can confirm problem , think it's problem graphics driver.

have lenovo x220 tablet kubuntu 11.04 installed , git version of intel graphics driver described on https://launchpad.net/~glasen/+archive/intel-driver .
