How did I get Camera Raw files?

i  working lot of old scanned photos. when @ them in bridge many of them have little icon in top right hand corner:

 

 

when click on them open photoshop open in camera raw 7.1 window. these files don't have desktop thumbnails (i'm on mac). don't want open them in camera raw. tiff files.

with pc can click on edit/camera raw preferences , uncheck option on bottom tiff , camera raw.
