Could not connect to SMTP when submitting various forms - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

today strange think happened. joomla sites not connect smtp. on sites have various forms installed (ex.: fabrik , contact enhanced). if want submit form error shown: "could not connect smtp" or 1 "the following address failed: myname@mygmail.com".

all websites joomla 2.5.6 , 1.5.26 version mail settings follows:
mailer: smtp
from email: mygmail@mydomain.com
from name: whatever
sendmail path:/usr/sbin/sendmail
smtp authentication: yes
smtp security: ssl
smtp port: 465
smtp username: mygmail@mydomain.com
smtp password: mypassword
smtp host: smtp.gmail.com
*note: can see, smtp settings used gmail , google aps

my hosting company said there no changes on server , php openssl (extension=php_openssl.dll) enabled.

mailer : smtp server
mail : youremail@yourdomain ( write e-mail here )
from name : name ( write normal name here )
sendmail path : leave default
smtp authentication : no
smtp security : none
smtp port : 25
smtp username : youremail@yourdmain ( full e-mail address )
smtp password : youremailpassword
smtp host : gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com

for emails when forms submitted on webpages, set smtp authentication, ssl security, on port 465 again, beacuse lot of emails land in spam folder.

please help! can do? there way test openssl function on server? there else can check or try?

btw: use whm , cpanel php 5.2.
