Thread: Ubuntu and Aztech router

i need our new modem/router. before home, dad installed new wired/wireless modem replace our old one. now, dad , sister both can connect internet (i'm on dad's comp).

mucked around settings, screwed somewhere had take pointy stick reset button. after fiddling around settings more, got laptop connect access point (but not internet)

record, modem/router aztech dsl 1000ew, malaysian company believe. dad , sister both use windows 7, , use ubuntu maverick 10.10. used wired, , wireless.

looking in settings of modem/router, see laptop authenticated , authorized ap, still, no internet. think problem in win7, there's login-form isp... kinda dial-up form of old times. (now think of it, it's pretty same.) if that, explain why i'm able wireless connection without internet. problem is, there's no such similar form in maverick. i'm @ loss do.

suggestions should do? other install windows, mean.
