CS3 upgrade

i have cs3 extended , bought d7000. didn't realize these aren't compatible. can buy cs5 or cs6 upgrade , work d7000? 

not trying talk out of buying photoshop cs6 (you can no longer buy photoshop cs5 adobe), did know there's free solution editing raw files in photoshop cs3?

 

basically have convert raw files dng format, using free adobe dng converter, you'll able open dng files photoshop cs3.

you can determine whether camera raw supports camera via table:

note camera raw 7.x goes photoshop cs6, camera raw 6.x goes photoshop cs5, etc.
