Thread: saving current programming before upgrading

writing because want keep of things have on ubuntu 10.
4 computer , not want upgrade until have way of keeping of things have on it.
how make happen? should try load these program settings on flash drive?
if how do this?

hi, if talking in home folder quite large. can copy home folder partition , make sure not write on when install. give guide.
