Thread: Back to "ubuntu classic", and now, it's blocked !

hello there,

tired use unity (slow, crashes), wanted going ubuntu classic.

during reboot confirm selection. have login screen, , pink screen, hourglass , nothing. tried restart in debug mode, reset in params, nothing helped. "unity --reset" neither.

how go back,to unity, or repair this?

can see desktop? assume can there no panels etc. so, right click desktop , choose "create launcher..."

name whatever , command, type:

gdmsetup

now double click newly created launcher , choose 'ubuntu' default session. if 'ubuntu' selected, need take @ one.
