photomerge CS 6 is not working, any hints?

i trying create simple 3 image panorama.  shot images (an interior) using shift lens, has worked in cs5.

 

in bridge go photoshop photomerge feature, select 3 files - opens 1 of files creates photomerge layer ignors other 2 files.  have tried many different configuations, making sure 3 files highlighted in blue,  auto , perspective same outcome 1 image plus empty photomerge layer.

 

i've read through archives seem address hdr - i've repaired permisions using disk utilty need throw away photoshop permissions , if how do again? (mac 2008 tower 10.6.8)

does happen if load 3 images 1 file , trigger edit > auto align layers manually?

 

trashing prefs can done keeping command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift pressed while starting photoshop after making sure customized presets actions, patterns, brushes etc.
