Akeeba Kickstart Restore... and a Core Module malfunctions - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support
hi
i have launched latest joomla! 2.5 site. had temporary site contact module running @ www.domain.com, labelling sqldb "site_pub". developed new site @ www.domain.com/dev, labelling sqldb "site_dev". created empty space future member site @ www.domain.com/mem, labelling sqldb "site_mem".
when development done, backed www.domain.com/dev akeeba backup, storing backup file in root/.backup/full. used cpanel copy jpa file /public_html (www.domain.com). ftp'd kickstart files , ran restore. during process changed site name, sqldb, log , tmp parameters match new location. restore process overwrote temporary site mentioned above, , started perfectly, except 1 joomla! core module, random image, not display images. checked ftp client, , images restored relevant directory. not determine reason why not display. created different directory, ftp's images in there, changed parameter point directory, no avail.
i restored same backup jpa file empty www.domain.com/mem directory, following same steps mentioned above. site restored, , modules, including random image module functioned 100%.
i cleared out every file www.domain.com, except /dev , /mem directories. in cpanel deleted "site_pub" sqldb, , recreated new one, labelling "site_public". ran restore process again, but again random image module not work!
i sincerely hope can me on one! temporarily unpublished module, because client visit site tonight.
thank you!

hi
in quest solution have removed module in module manager, , reinstalled - no effect. @ extension management uninstalled random image module, , tried run "discover" reinstall it, nothing discovered. manually copied folder \modules\mod_random_image member site public site, ran "discover" again , reinstalled module. the module still malfunctioned.
