wrong redirection in joomla 2.5 multilingual site - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,
i've created multilingual website in joomla 2.5 english , persian languages.
i've used default system-language filter parameters:
basic options
language selection new visitors: site language
automatic language change no
menu associations no
remove url language code yes
add alternate meta tags no
and in extensions>language manager default language persian

all things ok when click on link in menu (in persian), goes other language (english) link doesn't have content 404 error arises. see /en/ in address bar , if change manually address /fa/ it'll ok . other way should reselect persian language , may help

sometimes happens. what's problem?

different languages, same kind of problems here.
there wrong joomla! , multi-lingual sites.
it´s been driving me nuts.

i looking switching different cms @ point, because while amount of visitors growing each day, amount of visitors never coming site because of these problems. having said, let´s go constructive part:

languages: en/pt (default = en)

seo settings:
sef urls - yes
url rewrite - yes
add suffix - yes
unicode - no

language selection new visitors - browser settings
automatic language change - yes
menu associations - yes
remove url language code - yes
add alternate meta tags - no

used framework - gantry
used template - cloudbase2_j25 several styles.
gantry-cache - on
gantry gzip - on
site gzip - on
site cache - on

menu associations set correctly.

i have language switcher module , other items on site works , plop doesn´t...

i browsing in secondary language, hover cursor on primary language flag , in statusbar can see pointing right url. click flag , in address bar url secondary language suffix show up, resulting in 404.

ex:

browsing: http://luminancia.eu/galleries
want go to: http://luminancia.eu/galleries/live-performances.html (which shown in status bar when hovering)
result: http://luminancia.eu/pt/galleries/live-performances , not exist

change manually to: http://luminancia.eu/galleries/live-performances
result: http://luminancia.eu/pt/galleries/live-performances

change manually to: http://luminancia.eu/en/galleries/live-performances
result: http://luminancia.eu/galleries/live-performances

as said, driving me nuts!
