not sure right section apologies if isn't.
long story short - trying ditch skype in favor of free voip phones, 1 thing have kept me on skype superior firewall/nat penetration abilities. have installed ekiga softphone on both windows 7 , kubuntu os's can't connect sip network. i'm on university network "opening ports" not option. , besides, skype manages work perfectly.
there cure problem?
