i have 1000 mp3s windows media player messed up. (one of major reasons switched linux) need go through them , correct album tags. know how in windows, , know extremely tedious. (in windows, right click on mp3, properties, details tab, edit album tag.
there more efficient way change them in ubuntu? collection of 3 audio-books ripped cd, , want of tracks each book have same album tag. (so approx. 350 mp3s need same tag). i'm thinking script might trick, have no idea when parse file. or, there program magically take care of me?
this frustrated me on principle, easiest program found mp3tag. windows program, done job less 3 minutes when started download.
