my company has centos box running acobol. access via telnet our daily work. in order save money, want start loading computers ubuntu. thing has stopped me finding suitable client replacing our current windows program.

use reflection.

telnets box using ti928, vt407 emulation believe. anyways, lets capture keys f1, f8, f10 ...etc in order navigate menus durring telnet session.

did find can use x-term accomplish doing following:

telnet server

enter

code:

export term=xterm

however, must done everytime , xterm isnt best tool use.

suggestions?
