Problem after migrating to new host with Mysql 5 from Mysql - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi all, i'm trying migrate new cpanel host old nework solutions host account. did following instructed:

1. downloaded entire site via ftp , uplaoded entire site via ftp new host
2. exported datbase through phpmyadmin , imported new database phpmyadmin.
3. created new databaser user account, database , password same values old dbase account.
4. updated confirguration.php file correct paths site, cache, etc.

when try log joomla site on new server, blank page absolutely nothing on it. changed configuration file paths site , cache , got joomla error page set config file , got blank page again.

i discovered old host used mysql 4 , new host uses mysql 5.

what need make work correctly?

(a) site's url others can @ least see happening?

(b) there file named index.htm in directory site located? if answer yes, rename/delete it.

(c) new database user have created, have granted privileges? if not, so.
