i have strange issue epson r3880 printer: when make composite image in photoshop cs5 12.0.4 cutting , pasting various other images (then flattening layers), cannot print although printer goes through motions, nothing appears on paper; print head doesn't attempt print on part of paper image should appearing (i'm doing proofing). i've done can think of - i've reinstalled photoshop , latest printer drivers, , tried print in other applications (photoshop elements , gimp). other images (ie non-cut , paste) print satisfactorily. did speak on epson desk told me thought photoshop problem, fact image won't print in gimp suggests may not case. thing can think in cs5 created image causes allergic reaction in printer! i'm running vista x64. have thoughts on subject?
metadata. check files , strip or save format doesn't support in teh first place. perhaps copy&paste messes stuff on level such dpi flags or stored printer data...
