hi!
i'm running ubuntu 11.04 on rather low-power s10-3 netbook.
have problem on high load, firefox or chromium loading* 7+ tabs or 1 of them running , loading few tabs @ same time libreoffice or program, ubuntu freezes (roughly 1-5 times per day).
run tomboy, dropbox, hamster , gm-notify in background if quit them problem still can occur.
thing know how deal on windows: open painfully task manager , kill offender. in ubuntu freeze complete, don't open terminal , type kill command or along lines. choice keep power button pressed until netbook off , start anew.
question: there can pre-emptively avoid problem (apart running less programs/tabs, need to)? deactivated ff's flash plugin doesn't seem much. or maybe hardware issue should ask lenovo into?
lot in advance help!
