Flash player stopped working. Used to be fine.

flash player has stopped working on websites used work fine (such playing video on comedy central). solid black square video should be. no error message.

 

i have made no change whatsoever computer other updating latest version, you're supposed do. apparently, disabling video capability rocket scientist's definition of 'upgrading'.

 

i have found flash player work if create entirely new windows account (as instructed here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071 )

 

so, do?

 

here other things i've tried. none worked.

 

- restart firefox in safe mode, add-ons disabled

- create brand new firefox profile

- uninstall flash computer entirely, using adobe's uninstaller; reinstall

- downgrade flash 10.3 - not in firefox in internet explorer , opera

 

win 7 pro 64-bit
