Thread: Why are Ubuntu upgrades still so much trouble?

i wait, , wait , hope someday ubuntu have seamless upgrades.

upgrades have been hassle since day 1 ubuntu.

i'm tired of it. why still such problem?

going upgrade 8.04 10.04 have go 9.10 first. , it's taking forever, slow, slow, slow.

thought network upgrades idea? did think wouldn't have throttle server ever?

, i'm doing cd since can cd faster. run other problems, have go forums , read workarounds, don't work. , these known bugs sitting there...

doing same things upgrades 5 years ago!!

it's been 4 hours from cd, selected not use network, wtf? , it's 52x cd reader, read whole 690m several times on in 1 hour.

again, why such problem every damn time upgrade ubuntu!!!
