Thread: Repositories for 11.04 -- error

so, upgraded 11.04 upon release last lts, , although ran issues it's been pretty smooth sailing. there 1 nagging thing i'm concerned about, though: error when updating apt/synaptic.

whenever attempt check new software updates, error receive --

w:failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/elegant-gnome/ppa/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/source/sources  404  not found  , w:failed fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/elegant-gnome/ppa/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/binary-i386/packages  404  not found  , e:some index files failed download. have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

i'm quite sure it's not network error on end, i'm quite able access internet , absolutely do. i've not modified /etc/apt/sources.list file manually in years, i'm kind of stumped how happening.

presumably fix modify relevant lines in /etc/apt/sources.list, if above urls *aren't* correct, is?

you need go synaptic , disable repositories, , hit reload until problem stops.. need search ppas via search engine, , find ppa instructions reinstall them terminal.
