i have file in system. named lastpod.sh. i'm trying run when double click on message "the file '/media/new volume/000 old ubuntu desktop/lastpod/lastpod.sh' not marked executable. if downloaded or copied untrusted source, may dangerous run. more details, read executable bit.". fix when right click on file , goto properties>permissions , check box labelled "allow executing file program" getting unchecked next moment. tried running command "gksu nautilus /media/"new volume"/"000 old ubuntu desktop"/lastpod" on terminal , changing permissions on file didnt work work. still same checkbox getting unmarked. know how fix this? i'm running ubuntu 10.10. appreciated.
