Release Microphone after use

in air, possible release microphone after has been used.

 

my application requires microphone @ times, not time.  when idle, application runs cpu utilization of .65.  once microphone first time, cpu utilization jumps 2.2.  there seems no way dispose of or release microphone after using - if set variable reference null.

 

so after i've accessed microphone, application never drops below 2.2 cpu, when idle.

 

thanks in advance.

besides cpu utilization, find microphone in use when application attempts utilize it?
